The lashes feel sticky, or my eyes stick together overnight

Slight tackiness in the first day or two is completely normal and does not last. The adhesive stays a little tacky while the bond cures, which takes 24 to 48 hours, and then the stickiness fades and the lashes feel like your own.

That tack is also what makes clusters catch each other or your bottom lashes overnight, so if your eyes feel stuck together when you wake up, the answer is to neutralise it rather than to re-clamp.

Setting powder. A tiny dab of loose setting powder along the lash line after application takes the tack away straight away.

Sealant. A light coat of our Bond and Seal sealant brushed over the base of the clusters seals the adhesive so nothing grabs, and it helps the bond along too.

Placement. Check each cluster is sitting about 2mm from the waterline, underneath your top lashes, so nothing sits low enough to touch the bottom lashes.

Keeping the lashes dry during the cure window helps everything set faster, and if you are a side sleeper the Overnight Lash Guard Eye Mask stops the pillow pressing the lashes together.

If the lashes are still noticeably tacky after day three, that is not normal. Get in touch with your order number and we will sort a replacement.
